The
following philosophy underpins the creation and purpose of the Canadian
International Peace Project:
-
The Canadian International Peace Project's primary
mandate is to foster pluralism and Canadian
values.
-
The organisation constructively engages others including businesses,
schools, universities, faith communities, civic, social, governments,
and other organizations, institutions and individuals to build
partnerships and work collaboratively on events and projects locally,
nationally and internationally on a range of matters including
pluralism, peace, safety, security, ethno-cultural-religious
relations, conflict resolution, education and economic
development.
-
The Canadian International Peace Project is an independent and
non-partisan organization. It draws its membership and support from a
diverse cross-section of Canadian and international members and
supporters.
